Embora seja um pós cirúrgico relativamente imediato, a diferença é gigantesca. Os estertores respiratórios não são normais em nenhum animal e que ninguém diga que “é normal, estes cães respiram assim”. Não é verdade. Estes cães respiram assim porque são doentes e essa doença pode ser amenizada e conferir uma qualidade de vida que eles nunca tiveram.

Although it’s still an early postoperative stage, the difference is huge. Respiratory stertors are not normal in any animal, and no one should say “it’s normal, these dogs breathe like this.” That’s not true. These dogs breathe like that because they’re sick — and this condition can be improved, offering a quality of life they’ve never had.
