Traumatismo facial com fratura maxilar
🇵🇹 – paciente que sofreu um coice de um burro. O traumatismo foi localizado na região da face esquerda, havendo fratura do osso maxilar na área do dente canino maxilar, que foi avulsionado, tendo havido fratura da coroa da peça 203. A fratura óssea muito focal, levou a afundamento da lâmina medial do maxilar para a cavidade nasal, estabelecendo-se uma comunicação local com o espaço sob a mucosa do palato, levando a uma ligeira insuflação deste na região perto da incisura palatina.
A raiz do 203 foi removida por técnica aberta e sem intercorrências.

The patient sustained trauma caused by a donkey kick, with impact localised to the left side of the face. A fracture of the maxillary bone was identified in the area of the left maxillary canine tooth, which was avulsed, and a crown fracture of tooth 203 was also present. The bone fracture, although very focal, resulted in medial displacement of the maxillary wall into the nasal cavity, creating a local communication with the submucosal space of the palate, leading to slight bulging of the palatal mucosa in the region near the palatine notch.
The root of tooth 203 was removed via an open technique, without complications.
